Dining in Coziness

To me, beside as a place where delicious meals are consumed, silly jokes are laughed at, and wonderful memories are made, a cozy dining space means outdoor, lots of natural light, soft color palettes, handmade hanging candle chandeliers, plushy chairs, fresh aromatic hydrangea, a spacious rustic table atop a woven jut rug, preferably located by a beach or on a terrace.

That’s not all to cozy though. Exposed bricks and beams, upholstered chairs, furry rugs, old school fireplaces, warm colors and textures, lighting, gorgeous views, etc. all offer coziness. Literally, a cozy dining space takes on many forms, shapes and styles.

Here’s a diverse photo roundup from my Pinterest board, Dining Space.

Each of these gorgeous rooms sets a distinct ambiance of coziness. Whether it’s colorful accents, comfortable seats, and durable goods, something might pop at you to draw an idea or two for your cozy dining space, too.

Of course, this is just a smidgen of some of my favorite images. Visit my Dining Space board for more inspirations that might fit your personal style.

And may I ask, what is your style of a cozy dining space? And what is being served on that space tonight? Hubby will be making his favorite chicken fried rice. I can’t wait till dinner time.

Have a beautiful evening!

Oh I love all of these! For me, a cozy dining space includes a bench on one side, some plush chairs on the other, and lots of light in an open space. I wouldn’t mind if that means on a rooftop patio or by the beach (although I would prefer the latter!!).

Great minds think alike. And with your partying decor skill, that would be one tranquility space I would dream of visiting one of these days :)

  2. It’s like you read my mind! I’ve been looking at kitchen/dining decor ALL DAY! I love all these looks, but I just wonder how easily they’d be able to pull off. I seem to have so much clutter these days! i love the serenity that these clean looks aim to have. I need this! Especially loving the photos with the bright red chairs and on the other end of the spectrum the ones with wooden benches. Thanks for sharing Irene!
